Information for Prospective Members
What is the Nebraska Christian Men’s Chorus?
We are an ecumenical group of Christian men, founded in 1993, who enjoy singing together and sharing our musical gifts with community groups of all kinds. We sing at City of Lincoln events, hospitals, social groups, retirement homes and service clubs. We share a common love of music, joy in one another’s company, dedication to living a life of Christian values, and willingness to share our musical gifts with the public. We welcome men of all ages and faiths who share our mission of fellowship, friendship, and community service through sharing the gifts of song.
What Type of Music Does the Chorus Sing?
We sing a wide variety of sacred and secular music arranged for men's voices (first tenor, lead tenor, baritone and bass).
When and Where Does the Chorus Rehearse?

Our 2018 season begins February 15, 2018 and ends with the Christmas concert in December; Rehearsals begin promptly at 7:00 pm and end promptly at 8:30 pm. While we recognize that there may be occasional conflicts, members are encouraged to attend all rehearsals. During the month of February we rehearse every Thursday.
How Often/Where Does the Chorus Perform?
We perform approximately twice a month at a variety of venues throughout Lincoln, Nebraska from May through December. We end our calendar year with a Christmas concert and sing-along held at a different church every year here in Lincoln in conjunction with the Nebraska Christian Women’s Chorus.
